Continuing Education Requirements for Florida Nurses
The Florida Board of Nursing requires all nurses to take continuing education for license renewal.
Requirements specific to Licensed Practical Nurses in Florida
License Expiration & Renewal Schedule: LPN licenses are valid for two (2) years and require renewal by July 31 in odd-numbered years.
Minimum Hours: 24 (one contact hour must be earned for each calendar month of the licensure cycle)

- (2) Human Trafficking
- (2) FL Laws & Rules
- First Renewal Only
