Infection Control Training from New York State Department of Health and State Education Department is a tool designed for health professionals in order to provide the necessary training to minimize the risk of contagion of infectious diseases in the work environment, properly using biosecurity tools; and applying the basic protocols of cleaning, disinfection and sterilization, both of material and of work environments.
Intended audience includes: Dental hygienists, Dentists, Licensed practical nurses, Optometrists, Physicians, Physician assistants, Podiatrists, Registered professional nurses, Specialist assistants, Medical students, Medical residents, and Physician assistant students.
This training is required every 4 years.
Human Trafficking Training for Healthcare Professionals
This training teaches professionals how to recognize and respond to signs and behaviors that may be associated with human trafficking. It includes information about the types of human trafficking, contexts, victims, criminals, reporting suspecting human trafficking, and provides resources for victims or potential victims.
